Namecheap Black Friday / Cyber Monday 2020 Deals

Namecheap offers multiple products such as web hosting, domain names and SSL certificates and every Black Friday you can get awesome deals on these products if you’re looking.

Although it’s a rather great place to get domains, I don’t use Namecheap but they’re reasonable and a better domain place than Godaddy. For web hosting, I wouldn’t recommend going with a provider that’s primarily for domain names.

If you’re looking to take advantage of Namecheap’s Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals this year, they’re doing it a bit different from previous years where they had hourly limits on deals and you had to check back every hour.

Namecheap? Or NameSilo?

Many people use Black Friday domain name deals to transfer their domains to another registrar. If you’re doing this then you might be considering transferring to Namecheap.

This is a great choice but if you’re doing this based on price there’s an even better choice. One you might not have heard of before. Namesilo.

While Namecheap has specials on domain registrations for the first year, renewal and regular price for a .com is $10.98. At Namesilo, the price is always the same – $8.99 per year.

Namecheap also gives you free domain privacy for a year but renews at $2.88 per year. With Namesilo domain privacy is always free if you choose to enable it.

Web hosting Alternative

Namecheap isn’t the first name you would normally think of when you hear the word web hosting. I honestly don’t know if the hosting is good or not because I haven’t tried it.

Namecheap offers the standard shared hosting, dedicated servers, reseller and VPS hosting. My alternative though is SiteGround and you can check out their Black Friday deal here but it’s totally up to you if you have a great reason to go with Namecheap website hosting.
