The Bridge WordPress magazine theme by MyThemeShop is a beautiful new theme that can be used in a number of ways.
The theme comes with 4 predefined demos, each highlighting your content in a way that encourages click-throughs, perfect for lowering bounce rates on your website.
Having low bounce rates can immensely improve your SEO and increase your visibility in the search engines. This is one of the best qualities I noticed right off the bat with the Bridge theme.
There are other great features of the Bridge theme which I will cover in this review of MyThemeShop’s latest theme.

There’s plenty to like about the Bridge magazine theme. It is beautifully designed and filled with lots of theme options. Besides that, here are some features that stand out about this theme.
(1) 4 Predefined Demos
As with most themes by MyThemeShop, getting one premium theme is like getting 3 or 4 themes.
The Bridge theme is no different and comes with 4 predefined demos. This allows you to choose a design that matches the niche or purpose of your website.
Besides the default design, health related websites can use the Health demo, news related websites can use the News demo and sports related websites can use the Sports design.
They all look different in design but retain the features and functionality of the default Bridge theme.
Personally, I love the design of the Health demo for it’s minimalism and white space. The background color of the content area bothers me a bit because it’s not white but this can always be modified within the theme options.
(2) Woo Commerce Compatible
Like all MyThemeShop themes, the Bridge theme is Woo Commerce compatible and from the looks of the Shop demo, you can use the Bridge theme to make beautiful eCommerce shops and store websites.
(3) Mobile Responsive
I love how the Bridge theme looks on my mobile device. The theme is fully responsive (as all modern themes should be) and has a beautiful off-canvas menu.
Your visitors will love the look of your website when they’re browsing on their smartphones and tablets. You can preview how the theme will look on different mobile devices while viewing the theme demos.
(4) Subscribe Widget
MyThemeShop themes usually come with multiple widgets that you can add to your sidebar or other widget areas on your website.
The Bridge theme comes with a subscribe widget which they say has been “strategically placed for the best results” and has been “carefully added to every layout to help accelerate the subscription rate of your visitors by a hundredfold or more”.
The widget appears just above the footer area in all the themes but I’m guessing it could also be added to the sidebar (didn’t check). It’s just great to have a widget that you can easily insert into your website that lets you collect subscribers.
(5) Related Content
This is probably my favorite feature for the Bridge Theme.
Usually, with the sites that I have that don’t use MyThemeShop themes, I would have to use a plugin to show related content. I haven’t found any that displays related content as beautifully as MyThemeShop’s themes.
With MyThemeShop themes, I haven’t found any as yet that displays related content as beautifully as the Bridge theme. You just cannot miss the related content in this theme which is great because they’re there for a reason – to keep visitors browsing.
You can have four big grids with feature image and post title right after the content. This can help to lower bounce rates and improve your SEO.
(6) Lots of Theme Options
As usual, there are lots of theme options available to modify every aspect of your theme and website’s look.
Theme options include one click child themes, unlimited color options as well as the ability to add custom CSS and insert Adsense ads and other forms of monetization.
I can’t say that there’s anything about the Bridge theme that I didn’t like.
I tried in on my test website and it’s perfect for now. Anything that I don’t like about any of the themes can easily be changed within the theme options, even the horizontal gradient color background of the default theme which I suspect some people might not be OK with.
The great thing about the Bridge theme is that you can completely tear it down and modify it to fit any type of website in any niche market.
The theme is also compatible with a number of plugins, including review plugins and Woo Commerce. Predefined demos let you quickly get a theme for topics that are health, news or sports related.
You can use this theme if you’re building a website related to any of the following:
Basically, any website you’re thinking about building, there’s a good chance that the Bridge theme can work for you if you’re going to use WordPress. You can find it at MyThemeShop to check out all the features and view the demos.
In the comments below, tell me what you’re building and whether or not you think this theme will fit your new project.
