John Crestani: Is Money The Root of Evil?

In this vlog from John Crestani, the super affiliate/mentor/teacher answers the age old question about whether or not money is the root of all evil.

He has some interesting insights and of course he doesn’t believe that money is the root of all evil. He and I share the same belief that lesser fortunate people use this to justify their limiting beliefs on money.

People generally misquote or misunderstand the Bible where it says “the LOVE of money is the root of all evil” which to me has a whole different meaning than “money is the root of all evil”.

The love of money being the root of all evil to me means that people who value money over everything else will end up doing bad things.

Money is just a means to an end. You need money to pay your bills so you’re actually valuing comfort over money.

If paying your bills was the only thing you needed in life and you didn’t have bills to pay would you still need money? I won’t and I would be happy.

You need money to buy food and other essentials like clothing and transportation.

You need money to send your kids to school so that they could be in a better position to make money later in life.

Money in this modern world is necessary but there are people who live only to get money so they can live excessive lives and have power over others while making others miserable because of their efforts. They do evil out of the love of money. Drug lords and scammers are two types of people that I can think of that have this unneeded desire for money.

One thing Crestani said in the video that resonated with me was that if you wanted to have a billion dollars by next year, it is possible as long as you’re not breaking any laws of physics and he is very much right. You just have to believe you can do it and have a plan.

Now I need to think about how I can get a billion dollars by next year. This calls for Napoleon Hill’s 6 steps from Think & Grow Rich.

What are your thoughts on this subject? Is money the root of all evil?
