How would you like to get paid $500 just to watch a video?

If you said ‘yes’ then that’s great because I know I would like that too.

This is one of the promises that made by the presentation of  The Job Quitter system and one that is never going to be kept. At the very least, they’ll have some way of getting around having to pay you $500.

The Job Quitter presentation screams scam just as you land on the page and I’ll show you why you need to stay away from this system in this review.

I’m not even going to purchase the system because there are so many red flags that show this system is not even worth it. Even if the system is great, it would be like having a good meal prepared for you on a dirty plate.

There are so many better presented systems available online that will teach you how to do the same thing they’re offering to teach you here.

You can check out a review of the one I used to quit my job back in 2009.

Why You Can’t Trust The Job Quitter System

There are numerous red flags presented by the Job Quitter system which indicates that this is nothing more than one of those low value systems that I keep asking my readers to avoid.

Scam? Certainly looks like it.

I did not have high expectations for The Job Quitter even before I hit the page. This is because I was referred to it by a guy named Steve via an email.

Steve is known for a popular scam called Clone My System and one thing I’ve noticed is that these scammers rarely promote legitimate systems. So I expected Steve to send me to a page for some bogus program and I was sent to The Job Quitter presentation.

One of the first things you notice is the headline, “I WILL PAY YOU $500 JUST FOR WATCHING THIS VIDEO” which is a bit of a bold promise because you know there are possibly hundreds if not thousands of people that are going to see this video. Of course there’s a catch (which I’ll reveal below).

The $500 promise is nothing but an attention grabber and a hook to keep you watching the presentation. Other tactics are used to disarm you and get you to purchase this system without you doing your due diligence. Scarcity (only 100 new students accepted lie) and fear of missing out (video will be pulled down shortly lie) are two of them.

I know that they won’t be ONLY accepting 100 new students because they’re paying affiliates for leads and therefor can’t put a cap on the number of referrals they get. And only 100 new students would only make them about $4700. Obviously, they’ll keep it up for as long as it would make them money.

This is why they also won’t be pulling down the video no time soon. I’ve looked at other reviews of the system and the earliest one I found dates back to the end of September. It’s November at the time of this writing and the video is still up. You really won’t miss anything if you decided not to buy the system today.

Looks Like Affiliate Marketing But What Is It Really?

The only thing I liked about this Job Quitter presentation is that they did give you a bit of an idea what the system was all about. This is not a compliment.

In the video, I could see screenshots of Clickbank and Amazon earnings as well as JvZoo earnings in the second video. This clues me in to the fact that the system is most possibly an affiliate marketing training system.

They don’t actually talk about what you will be getting which is another red flag of scam presentations.

Instead the presenter, “Richard Harper” shows stock photos of “my house” and “my cars” and “my family” which are all fake.

There are a couple of testimonials and I’m guessing from previous experience with these types of presentations that these are fake too. He most likely paid these guys to say something good about his system.

Affiliate marketing though, is legit and you can quit your job doing it.

If you receive the right training from the right trainer, you could be on your way to making way more than you currently make at your day job.

This was my case back in 2009 where I was making about $1800/m at my day job and collecting checks for $5000 – $12000/m from affiliate marketing. So I did the most sensible thing I could have done then. I quit my day job so I could focus solely on affiliate marketing.

Where did I get the right training?

Certainly not from bogus programs like The Job Quitter System. I learned how to build an online business that paid me well using the training from Wealthy Affiliate. You can read a review of the training platform here.

What’s the Catch with the $500?

Ok, so they kept the thing about the $500 until the end of the presentation and here’s the catch.

The $500 is a guarantee that if you follow their training, you would make $500 per day in the next 60 days. This is a trick to gain your confidence in their system and to just go ahead with a nothing to lose attitude.

However, I think you will definitely lose your $47 because you cannot guarantee that someone will earn a specific amount of money within a given time.

There are many factors involved in making money online and success is dependent on how much work you put in, how fast you learn, picking the right niche, how much traffic you’re able to send to your pages, whether you have money to invest in moving things along faster and other things.

Not everyone who starts doing affiliate marketing sticks with it and sometimes you have to blame the training that they follow as there might be things missing from the training or they might not have access to all the right resources or the support system isn’t there.

The Job Quitter System is receiving mostly bad reviews from bloggers because all they’ve shown is that they’re willing to lie to get sales and to be honest most of us have seen these types of scams presented this way before.

If you want a shot at quitting your job with affiliate marketing, I would suggest trying out the Wealthy Affiliate system that I followed to do just that.

It has very structured task-based training, built in resources and a thriving community of affiliate marketing you can rely on to support you as you build your business.

  1. Greetings,

I made the mistake of joining. It was a Friday evening and once I could not reach the coach right then and there, I was suspicious. After I paid $47.00, then he asked for $97.00 which I did pay. Then it took me to ClickFunnels which had a 14 day free trial after which I would either be paying $97.00 or $197.00 a month! Why was this not explained initially? Ok, I stopped right there. Called the number provided for JobQuitter on Monday and asked for a refund. The conversation went down hill when I did not agree to stick with the system and kept asking for a refund. Eventually, he did agree to give me a refund (which I have not yet received), but he also told me he was going to blacklist my name and became very nasty with me! Then he hung up! Very disappointed and still have not received any type of refund.

    • Cheryl, thanks for sharing your experience with the Job Quitter System. I think this is the typical experience for anyone who joins this program. Your experience with customer service and their reluctance to give refunds is just another reason to avoid this program but hopefully for others they never have to reach that far.

  2. I signed up awhile ago, however, may I ask how long did it take you to make your first commission on wealthy affiliate? And about how much time did you put in, let’s say, in a week? Did you start as a newbie or experienced?

    • When I first joined Wealthy Affiliate, they didn’t have the type of training they have now. The training is much more streamlined, extensive and step by step compared to what I had.

The first month I tried Wealthy Affiliate, I had a goal to make back my membership fee before the month was up. I made my first commission 3 days before the end of that month.

Because I was consistently applying what I learned, I made more and more commissions after that from a number of different affiliate programs in different niches.

I did have a little experience in terms of learning different things from different sources before joining Wealthy Affiliate but I was still essentially a newbie as I still didn’t know how to put the pieces together to really make any significant amount of money. Wealthy Affiliate helped me put the pieces together.

How much time did I put in when I joined? I had a job I had to go to so I would do everything after I came home from work. Maybe about 2 – 3 hours every day at night.
