top how to make money searches

It has been said that the basis of happiness boils down to 3 things – health, love and wealth.

Since this is a website that deals with making money online, I’m not going to talk about health and love. People want to make more money and they’re turning to the internet to learn how to do that.

If you can teach people how to make money online by building a niche website, you in turn can make a lot of money yourself. Same goes to niches in the other two categories.

But it’s not enough to just put up a website on how to make money online. That is, unless you do not want to get found. The topic is too broad and you run the risk of getting lost in the crowd of websites that are already beating the topic to death.

The smart way would be to find out what people want to make money with and go from there.

I did some research to see some of the ways people are looking to make money and the following 10 subjects are what people want to know about most when it comes to making money. And if you pay close attention, not all the searches have to do with making money online.

In this top 10 article, I break down the ten searches and how you can use them as ideas for a niche website in the make money/wealth creation industry.

1. Bitcoin

bitcoin

People started paying attention last year during the Bitcoin bubble when the 9 year old cryptocurrency hit almost $19,500 for one unit. Now everyone wants to know how to make money with Bitcoin and other virtual coins just like it.

I have to admit, I did a few searches and even decided that I wanted to invest in Ripple (XRP) as I saw that it had a lot of potential to become the next Bitcoin in terms of growth.

I’m no financial expert so I wouldn’t speculate much about where cryptocurrency is going but if you are then you can take advantage of this trending search.

People want to know how they can put some money in Bitcoin and get huge returns, or they want to know about other cryptocurrencies they can take advantage of, or how to mine their own Bitcoin or maybe they have their own Bitcoin and would like to invest it for much larger returns.

As a marketer, you can build a Bitcoin-focused website or blog and help this audience, earning commissions in the process. If you have expert knowledge about this financial niche, I have seen some affiliate programs that previously focused on binary options that are now focusing on crypto traffic.

IQ Option is one such website and there are a lot of others. You can even earn money promoting courses on the topic.

2. YouTube

You may have heard about social media influencers making upwards of $30,000 per month on one of the most engaging websites on the internet.

As the world’s second largest search engine after Google, YouTube commands a huge amount of traffic that you could funnel to your websites and earn through affiliate marketing and other ways.

People want to know how they can take advantage of this incredible opportunity and earn money making short videos on YouTube. You could build a website and blog about the topic and earn commissions from referring video creation software and even affiliate marketing training.

A website focused on making money with YouTube will need to have videos embedded as examples so make sure your video creation game is strong to that you can show credibility as an expert on the topic.

3. A Blog

You can make a lot of money with blogging and people want to know how. This can lead into showing people how to make money other ways such as affiliate marketing which is one of the primary ways to monetize a blog.

If you can show this audience how to create a full time income blogging then you can earn commissions from referring web hosting, WordPress themes and plugins as well as affiliate marketing training or even blogging courses.

Having a blog is one of the top ways to earn money online and it’s no surprise that people are searching on how they can get into blogging. I’m using a blog right now to earn money and it’s not only profitable but fun.

4. Money

There are a lot of ways to make money if you already have money. Investing is a broad topic and you can show people lots of ways in which to invest their money.

This is a financial niche and your solutions do not have to be online. People just want to know how they can use the money they already have to make more money whether it be offline or on the internet.

You could dedicate an entire website to this topic as there are endless ways to answer this search query although I must admit that it is a little broad and can just be a beginning search until the searcher gets more information.

For example, one of the methods he might find could be stocks and then he’ll perform a secondary, more focused search on how to make money with stocks.

5. Instagram

As one of the largest social media website on the internet in terms of audience, it’s no surprise that people are querying how to make money on Instagram.

There aren’t a lot of ways to monetize Instagram but you can still make a lot of money using the site because of the size of the very engaged audience.

There are a number of courses available to answer this query but if you create a website around the topic, you should  make sure that you have an Instagram account with a sizeable following for credibility.

6. Photography

photography

How many ways can you make money with photography? Lots. And this topic can lend itself very well to a dedicated blog.

You can earn affiliate commissions from your blog or even sell a course. With the dozens of sub-niches involved in earning from photography including Photoshop, stock photos, photography as a career (wedding photography, real estate photography, nature photography etc), you can even blog about one of these things and still earn lots of money.

You don’t even have to know a thing about photography – just show people how they can earn money selling their photos on the internet and you’ll be ok.

7. Amazon

There are also a lot of ways to make money with Amazon so you can have an entire blog about this topic as well.

From affiliate marketing to FBA to Kindle, you’ll find a lot of things to talk about on a blog about making money with Amazon.

There are already a lot of blogs talking about making money from Amazon so it might even be wiser to just choose one of these subtopics and get even more focused.

You’ll make just as much money earning commissions showing people how to use Amazon for affiliate marketing as you would showing people how to earn a living publishing Kindle books.

8. Stocks

Do you have the expertise to teach people about earning with stocks?

This is yet another financial niche where people have money to start investing. They just don’t know how to start and you can be the one to show them.

You can create a website or blog to show people the common ways to invest in stocks. Stock and investing brokers have some of the highest CPA commission rates online. After doing a quick check, I found Investing.com’s affiliate program which offers up to $1000 CPA.

9. Facebook

I can imagine that this search has been around for as long as Facebook has been around or when it started to get popular.

Facebook has been one of the top social media websites online and because of that there are a number of ways to make money with it. You can earn from participating in groups, using Facebook’s PPC ads and a number of other ways.

Creating a website that shows people how they can earn from Facebook is a good option and opens a wide range of ways to earn commissions.

10. No Money

How do you make money with no money? Frugal minds want to know.

A blog in the frugality niche can still make money even though the audience is expected to be financially savvy. They’ll want to know how they can start earning money with little, or as the search says, no money at all.

So showing this audience any of hundreds of offline methods for starting a business or earning just using their skills or selling something they made might be better than showing them how to earn online.

Still, there are plenty of online methods too such as freelance writing jobs, paid surveys and even good old affiliate marketing can be started without any investment.

If you’re in the make money online niche and promote a product or service, looking at these top 10 “how to make money” searches can give you some additional angles for promotion.

For example, lets say you promote a blogging course, you can use the “bitcoin” search to show bloggers how to earn money online blogging in the Bitcoin niche.

Think about what you promote and align each search with your product. This can mean lots of traffic if you find the right angle and keywords to write a post (or series of posts) about.
